A very good day is when you walk out of my house and notice that your front yard has been mowed. In this case, the mower has been doing a fairly good job of handling the grass. You will also notice that most if not all of the blades have been removed from my trimmer which was sitting in a spot where it usually gets most of its use. Another great day is when I am outside and don't see any debris in my yard, no fallen leaves or pinecones, no cigarette butts or food wrappers covering most or all my property. This is a great day when the only thing you find is there by accident. In this case, I was sitting in my garage, checking out a new piece of outdoor gear that I recently got from the dealer, and having a few lunch items in the kitchen. At around 11:15 AM while sitting in my chair and reading or doing whatever it is that I do when I'm not mowing or trimming the yard, my wife walked out of the house and said: "Good morning dear," she said. "Oh," I replied "I'm sorry but didn't hear you come out the door. "Oh," she replied, "it's a beautiful morning outside." So I looked up and realized that the mower has been turned off for a few minutes. "I will have to check the outside right now," I said. As I was walking out to the garage, behind my wife is when she continued: "My hearing aid hearing need batteries again at home." I went into my garage and found six batteries sitting on top of a shelf in the garage. By the time I got back to my chair without saying a word, my wife is still talking about her hearing aids. I was not listening to her as I do not wear hearing aids and have no interest in them whatsoever. I got back to sitting down and my wife said: "I knew you would find the batteries for my hearing aids, they are really very expensive." ""What?" I replied "You know I can't hear what you are saying with those hearing aids of yours on! So you really don't need them anymore, they will just sit on that shelf collecting dust!" It was at this moment that she turned around, walked back into the house and slammed the door as hard as she could. A few minutes later, she came out of the house with some heavy duty extension cords. "I hope you like," she said. "You will really need these. When we get to our new home I will need to plug my hearing aids in and be ready to use them at all times." My wife walked away and I never saw her again. I guess the mower did a really good job of covering up my front yard, which probably is what made my wife go nuts.
